Tracee Beebe is an award-winning screenwriter whose stories focus on damaged characters and their relationships with each other. Her passion is writing "horror with heart" - character driven genre fair with an underlying message. Her screenplay, DEEP WATER was named one of the top 3 "most recommended" horror screenplays of 2019 as noted by The Blood List and the Hollywood Reporter. Her short film, DOG YEARS (2018), garnered her multiple festival awards, including Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Best Female Filmmaker.
Tracee's previous career as a horse trainer, and her work in animal rescue, has flavored much of her work and given her the tenacity to believe that anything is possible if you just work hard enough along with the humility to know that there is always more to learn.
Tracee grew up on her family farm in Napa Valley, California. She currently lives near Austin, TX with a pack of rescued dogs and horses.
